Dear Friday: Oh hiiiii! So very good to see you! Let's speed things along today because I things to do, people to see!

Dear Maclain: Happy Birthday sweet girl!! Because of M.E. I've made so many new friends and I am so excited to marry into the friend family! You are a great example to me of how to be a home decorator, party planner, loving fur-mama, and supporting wife! Thank you for being such a great friend! I hope today is super special - and I can't wait til tonight!

Dear gym/classes: 3 days this week, 1 day this weekend... including the Crossfit and Abripper class - not bad!! I can tell I'm getting stonger too because I no longer feel like I've been hit by a bus every morning after a workout.

Dear little brother: I'm going to miss you. Very very very much. Don't want to talk too much about it right now because it will make me sad!

Dear sunshine: Get in my skin!!!! Pool time tomorrow hopefully!

Dear birthday: Can't wait to seeeee you! I want my presents... which sounds totally selfish but M.E. is getting me a Polar watch and I can't wait to try it out!

Summer To-Do

Happy Thursday Bloggies!

Today I am linking up with Black Little Button  and to get pumped up for summer!





Today is my first official day of Summer. Random day you say, Memorial Day weekend doesn't start until tomorrow at 5:30, you say. Well not if you work in this office! Today the office is hosting a pizza party in honor of the summer season! Pizza and salad for summer, boom. More salad than pizza if you are on the starve-yourself-for-bikini-season diet like myself.

Anyway, this summer I cannot wait to:

•  Get tan. I cancelled my tanning bed membership (which makes me feel like an adult, being worried about cancer and all) so I am beyond ready for some natural vitamin D.
• My birthday! August 10th. Don't forget.
• A beach trip to Destin to visit my dad & aunt, who I haven't even seen since I've been engaged! Bad!
• The 4th of July! I love this holiday, fireworks and a great excuse to pig out on summer food.
• More wedding planning
• Finish the downstairs bathroom and haul away the crap under the house.
• Taking Bo dog to the beach. Apparently he loves the beach but we have yet to go on a family trip - hopefully this summer we can cross it off the list!
• Country music, because country music makes it feel like summer time.

Happy Friday you guys!

Dear followers: To you newbies, hello! Thanks for following! To my oldies, thanks for sticking with me! Have you noticed how I've been trying to post more? I'm also going to try to post more pictures for you because, let's be honest, pictures are way more fun to stalk than reading my letters......

Dear body: As you know, we received Insanity's Fast & Furious workout DVD in the mail the other day. Although we had plans to do the workout last night, changing into my workout clothes and everything, I ended up just sitting and watching the DVD. I had to know what I was getting myself into right? Apparently I'm getting myself into a lot of sweat. Send me motivation please.

SO ready! to not workout...

Dear movie theater: I feel like I write you a letter almost every Friday with false promises! Last weekend Gatsby was the plan... didn't happen. Tonight M.E. and I promise to come visit, although we haven't made a choice on which movie yet... Great Gatsby, Iron Man 3, or Star Trek?!

Dear sunshine: Stick around, I would like to bask in your light by the pool tomorrow afternoon. Totes in need of some vitamin D.

Dear maxis: As in maxi dresses and maxi skirts you weirdos... I would like several more of you to join my closet. I'm rocking one today, see?

Reading: 2 books, well technically I have 2 books on my iPhone's Kindle app that I technically haven't started yet... but with the warm weather coming around I plan on reading them outside by the pool soon! 'Don't Say a Word' by Barbara Freethy (so its a romance novel, so what?) and 'Let's Pretend This Never Happened, A Mostly True Memoir' by Jenny Lawson. I'll let you know how they are!

Watching:  The Voice! Although as the season progresses I find myself getting really anxious! Everyone is SO good! How the heck is America going to make the right decision?! Speaking of anxious, we've been watching the new show Hannibal, ugh that show is sick.

Lusting: After floral print summer dresses, I need some. I have a wedding to go to next month and I need a floral print dress like these:

Craving: A dessert in a mason jar. Whether it be a cake, a cobbler, a pudding, whateves. I want to make some and eat some because everything tastes better is cuter in a mason jar.

S'MORES IN A JAR? shut up.

Wondering: If the weather will be decent this weekend? I have plans to veg out by the pool while M.E. is at baseball... time to get my tan on!

Waiting: For Memorial Day Weekend! 3 Day weekend wahoo!!

Wedding Wednesday: In Progress...

Wedding Wednesday, horray! I really don't have anything super fun to report on the wedding planning process... Supposedly we get the rest of our engagement pictures this week and we've decided on the caterer... That means this weekend we will design our Save the Dates and decide exactly what we want from the caterer! So next Wednesday's post will be a lot more interesting...

Some Firsts!

Today is actually my first time linking up with Halie for From Firsts to Lasts! I know, I feel like a bad friend. She's been hosting this link up with Hallie for awhile now and I just never got around to joining in on the fun! Today that changes!

First Major in College

Oh yeesh, I had a lot of Major changes in college. Starting with Digital Design at UCF, then Graphic Design at FSU, then Elementary Education, then Hospitality, then back to Graphic Design. I guess I should say that Digital Design is Graphic Design, FSU and UCF just had different names for it. I really enjoyed studying design, even if it obviously has nothing to do with my career choice now...

First Date Success Story

My first date with my fiance was the best first date ever. That's why we're getting married. It honestly wasn't anything crazy or exciting but we hit it off so well that I couldn't wait to see him again afterwards. M.E. asked me out via text (read our love story about how we met on our wedding page!) and I met him at a local restaurant. He was there early and I arrived late, he barely ate any of his meal and the conversation never slowed down. After dinner we went down the street to an Irish Pub and had a couple of beers, just talking and talking. He walked me out to my car when it was time to leave and we still argue to this day who initiated that first kiss. Le sigh, it was perfect.

Oh heeeeey Friday! How you doin? It's very good to see you, I have big plans for you.

Dear BFF Lori: Happy almost birthday! Can't wait to celebrate with you tonight! I also can't wait for you to bring me my terrarium you made me!

Dear World Market/Homegoods: I am going to tear you up this weekend.

Dear Glee: I was very disappointed in your season finale last night. Honestly, it wasn't anything to write home about. Although I did enjoy seeing Kate Hudson and watching her sing and dance again.

Dear House: Prepare for some more makeover activities! While M.E.'s way, my paintbrush will play!

Dear M.E.: I hope you have a blasty blast on your trip this weekend with your boys. Please be safe, please have fun, and please bring me back a present. Bozo and I will miss you!

Friday Letters

Dear Friday: Thanks for showing your face, I feel like you came early! This week flew by! 

To my dear friends: I am so very sorry for your loss, our loss. My insides continue to ache when I think of your little family having to go through this tragedy. I wish it wasn’t real life because it is unfair. No one deserves to lose a child, especially such a sweet, young, and innocent sweet girl. I want to say so many things but I am at a loss of words. I continue to send love and strength and prayers to you and your families.

Dear Tallahassee’s Big Bed Coalition Fish Fry: I will be happy to attend tonight to eat your fishes and drink your drinks all while donating to our community.
