I just can't turn off my brain!

M.E. tells me all the time to just "Turn it off, turn off that brain." But I can't!! Maybe that's why I like lists so much, because they help me organize my thoughts and make me feel a little more productive... So Tuesdays will be my list days, I hope you're as excited as I am.

Five things I'll be doing over the next week:
One. Going to the Dollar Store to find things to craft with – its Fall ya’ll and I need to decorate the house/my office.
Two. Saturday’s FSU football game is on TV, which means air conditioning and a comfy couch. Don’t get me wrong, I will tailgate in all kinds of conditions, because I am a real fan. But a big screen tv and a bowl of chips and dips in your lap is pretty sweet.
Three. Getting our passport pictures taken! Or we will not be going on our honeymoon.
Four. I will be attending my first Barre class ever on Friday. This is what a barre class is. I’m very curious to see if I’ll be bad as I think I will.
Five. Making Enchilada Soup in the crockpot. Because its crockpot season!

Four things I can’t stop obsessing over:

Something pink for our Paint the Town Pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! (October)

Three wedding updates:
1. Why are choosing a way to display table numbers so hard?
2. Why did I decide to put my poor fingers through the process of making a brooch bouquet?
3. Kegs or bottles?

Two things I am beyond pumped for:
Uno. Payday. This last paycheck has been streeeeetched to its limits what with the dentist and the car accident!
Dos. To get my hair did, maybe next week? Maybe darker? Maybe not? We will see!

One thing that's currently bothering me:
My sinuses. My poor poor sinuses. We have been getting awful weather for the past couple of days and its brought on my bi-annual sinus infection. Ugh!

Friday Letters

Dear Body: I do apologize in advance, because after this weekend we are stepping our game up and really getting sweaty. I just received my “Sweating for the Wedding” workout top from RufflesWithLove and I bought my Jillian Michaels Wii Workout – so its about to get real.

Dear house: Are you excited? I’m excited. You’re about to get a makeover, but it’s a surprise to Fiance so we’re keeping it secret til Sunday!

Dear Ma: Can’t wait to go shopping with you tomorrow!

Dear Besties: I just love our Wedding Wednesdays, or as Fiance calls it, Wacky Wednesdays. But seriously, you girls are the best.

Dear Fiance: Miss you already. Have fun this weekend at the cold beach and enjoy your man time! Maybe you’ll get some ideas about your own Bachelor party!

Also, its time for a Friday link up with the very funny:
#backthatazzupfriday.
Link up and add a link of your favorite song o’ the day to celebrate it being the last day of the work week.
Dance.

New York!

I can just hardly stand my excitment that in 23 days Boyfriend and I will be on a jet plane to NYC!!

It was just fate I think that we found round trip tickets for $100 each on our one year anniversary. And luck that Boyfriend's good friends Mr. & Mrs. Nav live in Greenwich. Its going to be an amazing weekend!!

We've both been to NY before, sperately. For my 22nd birthday, my Ma & Mimi & I visited in the middle of the summer.
Airport pic! Def making Boyfriend take one of these...
Dinner at a fancy restaurant
Circling the Statue of Liberty
Dressed up matchy style to see a Broadway play
Times Square!!
Alas, tanner & skinnier in 2010... It was an amazing trip. We did all the touristy things and literally shopped til we dropped.

For this trip we've made a list of everything we'd like to see/eat/shop:
  • Grand Central Station
  • H&M
  • eat a Ruben at a real NY deli
  • 9/11 Memorial
  • The Arch (Grand Army Plaza @ Prospect Park)
  • Ice skating in Rockefellar Center
  • the Today Show
  • a Nets Basketball game
What reccomendations do you have that you think we must see??

Glam Grab

You guys. I have to tell you about this awesome way to get super cute jewely. Its called Glam Grab. Every week they offer new deals on chic jewelry and accessories - with prices as low as $15 – on their website and on their Facebook page auctions.

Their website is www.glamgrab.com where they have just a small selection of cute stuff – like Tory Burch look-a-likes and monogrammed pieces.

But what’s super fun is their facebook auctions at www.facebook.com/glamgrab. Every Monday at 7:30 pm central and 11:00 am central they have “auctions”. They post pictures of their new jewelry pieces with the price and how many they have in stock – comment 'Grab!' on the glam you want to purchase and you “win” the auction! You have to be quick because the quantities are limited! You then have 48 hours to decide if you need that piece – but trust me you will need it because they are so durn cute! (Oh and PS - shipping is only a $1!)

Last night was the first auction I saw in action and this is what I snagged.

So excited!!!

Grocery Shopping

I love grocery shopping. Well I like any type of shopping really.

And Thursdays are the best days for shopping for groceries because it’s the day of the week Publix releases its BOGOF (buy one get one free) deals!

Is it pathetic that when I wake on Thursday mornings I get excited to check publix.com to see what goodies I can buy?! Maybe.

Keeping an eye on the bogof deals really does help us save money and makes meal planning mucho easier. I’ve considered couponing to save even more money but lets be honest – ain’t nobody got time for that!

We’ve hit a jackpot this morning at publix.com though – check out all the bogof deals I just added to my grocery list!

Keebler Tray or Variety Packs (great snacks for work)
Hunt’s 100% Natural Tomatoes (for chili or soups)
Ronzoni Pasta (we go through a lot of pasta!)
RagĂș Pasta Sauce
Crystal Light Drink Mix (boyfriend loves his lemonade)
Armour Meatballs (crockpot meals a la easy!)
Healthy Choice Premium Bars (aka diet ice cream)
Green Giant Frozen Vegetables
Kraft Shredded Cheese (no matter the cheese, if its bogof I buy it!)
