New York!

I can just hardly stand my excitment that in 23 days Boyfriend and I will be on a jet plane to NYC!!

It was just fate I think that we found round trip tickets for $100 each on our one year anniversary. And luck that Boyfriend's good friends Mr. & Mrs. Nav live in Greenwich. Its going to be an amazing weekend!!

We've both been to NY before, sperately. For my 22nd birthday, my Ma & Mimi & I visited in the middle of the summer.

Alas, tanner & skinnier in 2010... It was an amazing trip. We did all the touristy things and literally shopped til we dropped.

For this trip we've made a list of everything we'd like to see/eat/shop:

• Grand Central Station
• H&M
• eat a Ruben at a real NY deli
• 9/11 Memorial
• The Arch (Grand Army Plaza @ Prospect Park)
• Ice skating in Rockefellar Center
• the Today Show
• a Nets Basketball game

Dear Friday: Welcome. I’ve missed you dearly. Tonight we will celebrate your return with homemade pizza & a bottle of wine.

Dear NYC: We will see you in 28 days!

Dear weather: 81 degrees? Its February! Weather, you’re drunk!

Dear Seminoles: Scalp ‘em! Basketball game tomorrow!

Dear boss: You were very funny yesterday when I picked you up from your dental surgery – and I am jealous that you have an excuse to drink milkshakes all day.

Dear GlamGrab: LOVE my bracelet! You are the only reason Mondays will now be semi bearable!

Dear tanning bed: Its been a long time since I’ve seen you, and as bad as you are for me, you were amazing this week. If I closed my eyes and concentrated hard enough, I truly felt like I was on the beach, knee deep in the water somewhere… and it was glorious.

Dear sinuses: Thank you for finally getting your game together. That was not a pleasant way to start off the new year and I am happy to be feeling like myself again!

Friday Letters

Dear NYC: I can not WAIT to see you!!! Tickets were booked last night for our anniversary in Feburary and I can hardly sit still I'm so excited! 70 days til New York City with my babes!

Dear Market Days: Its the most wonderful time of the year to go Arts&Crafts Fair shopping! Except that I've already bought all my Christmas presents... and I'm now trying to save money for NYC!!

Dear Parade: Winter Festival Parade of Lights that is! The office is buying pizza and inviting everyone and their families to watch the parade from our windows - and we'll have a tv with the FSU game playing!

Dear FSU Basketball Team: Please win. But if not, I'll still have a good time on Sunday.

Dear Christmas tree: We'll be seeing you on Sunday! Get ready to be sparkled!

Dear Weightloss: Don't test me this weekend... I plan on doing a lot of walking to balance out my not so healthy pizza tomorrow - don't let me down! ::mouth is now watering for pizza::
